Mail Stolen From Brentwood Post Office Drop Box, Police Say

UPDATE — A resident checked at the post office and confirmed the taken mail came from the outside box on the side of the Brentwood post office building at Towne Square. Police received multiple calls about mail taken from blue drop boxes in the area and have been in contact with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service while trying to determine exactly which box was targeted. To report stolen mail from the Brentwood post office or other locations including Pleasant Hills, call the Postal Inspectors at 1-877-876-2455 or submit information online; Brentwood Borough Police say they will share more details as they become available.
