Man arrested after threats, firearms recovered on E. Walnut Street

Lancaster police and SERT took a 35-year-old man into custody after reports of threats at a home on East Walnut Street; two firearms were recovered and no injuries were reported.

On July 13, 2026, Lancaster City Bureau of Police responded to reports that an occupant of a home in the 900 block of East Walnut Street was making threats toward another person and their children. After loudspeaker warnings and unsuccessful attempts to contact the suspect, Lancaster County SERT executed a search warrant, took 35-year-old Tyler Fry into custody, recovered two firearms, and charged him with three counts of terroristic threats and one count of resisting arrest; Fry is in custody and no injuries were reported. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
