Man arrested at Ephrata Walmart for shoplifting fishing supplies

The Ephrata Police Department arrested Tracy Allen Bowman, 60, of Ephrata on July 12, 2026 at 12:03 p.m. after officers responded to Walmart at 890 E. Main Street for a shoplifter in progress. Police say Bowman took $45.30 in fishing supplies and passed all points of sale without paying; he was arrested, processed, issued a summary non‑traffic citation and released. Bowman is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
