Man arrested for stealing $4 in meat sticks from Jersey Shore Jiffy Mart

Lycoming Regional officers arrested a 66-year-old man after surveillance showed him concealing $4 worth of meat sticks at a Jiffy Mart in Jersey Shore Borough.

On August 27, 2026, at about 6:00 PM, Lycoming Regional Officers responded to a reported retail theft at the Jiffy Mart, 115 N Pennsylvania Ave, Jersey Shore Borough. Surveillance showed 66-year-old Chris P. Miller conceal meat sticks worth $4 after buying a sandwich; officers found him sitting in a pickup outside, took him to LRPD West, processed him on a retail theft charge and released him. Miller was on adult probation supervision at the time; all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
