Man arrested in Bradford after alleged baby stroller theft

Matthew Haas, 38, was arrested July 21 by the City of Bradford Police Department following an investigation into a June 5 incident in which a baby stroller valued at $450 was allegedly stolen from a front porch at 59 Jefferson Street. He faces charges of theft (CC 3921 A) and receiving stolen property (CC 3925), was arraigned by Magistrate Richard Luther and remanded to McKean County Jail on $10,000 straight cash bail. Preliminary hearings are scheduled; all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
