Man arrested in Lititz on strangulation, domestic assault charges

On October 4, 2026, Lititz Borough police responded to the 200 block of North Elm Street after a reported domestic incident. The victim told officers Dean M. Greenly, 51, punched her in the face, knocked her head against a wall, threw hot wax on her and choked her from behind by wrapping his arm around her neck; a friend who called 911 reported seeing wax on the victim’s clothing, red marks around her neck and a bruise near her eye. Greenly was taken to Lancaster County Central Booking, committed to Lancaster County Prison on $30,000 bail, and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing; he is presumed innocent.
