Man charged with attempted murder after brother stabbed in North Charleston

North Charleston Police arrested 37-year-old Antwan Derrell Brown after a Friday evening stabbing at a home on Blackwell Avenue. Brown called officers saying a fight had occurred and that his brother had been stabbed; officers initially believed Brown was the victim but, after a witness directed them inside, found the actual victim with a stab wound. Brown was charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime and booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center; EMS transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
