Man dies after Lemoyne house fire; investigation underway
One adult male was rescued from a residential fire in Lemoyne on Oct. 6, 2026 but later died; West Shore Regional Police and the Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
On Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at about 7:00 a.m., West Shore Bureau of Fire with multiple mutual aid units responded to a working residential fire in Lemoyne Borough and rescued one adult male. The victim was transported to a local hospital and subsequently died. West Shore Regional Police are investigating the fatal fire with assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Investigation Unit and ask anyone with information to call 717-238-9676; the department extended condolences to the victim’s family.
