Man killed in Franklin Township house fire
An adult man was found unresponsive inside a Franklin Township home and pronounced dead Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026, the coroner said.
An adult man has died in a swift-moving blaze Saturday evening at a home in Carbon County, authorities said.
Crews from multiple agencies responded just after 11:15 p.m. to a home along Cherry Hill Road in Franklin Township. Firefighters battled until early Sunday to get the flames completely extinguished, Carbon County Chief Deputy Coroner Jason T. Smith said.
