Manheim man charged with DUI after Lititz traffic stop

A Lititz Borough traffic stop led to DUI and related charges against a Manheim resident.

Lititz Borough police stopped 27-year-old Joseph Nicholas Calabrese of Manheim on June 28, 2026 at about 2:22 a.m. for a suspended license. Officers say he showed signs of impairment, was asked to perform field sobriety tests, transported to the station for further testing and has been charged with one count of DUI: high rate of alcohol (misdemeanor), one count of general impairment of driving safely (misdemeanor) and one summary count of vehicle registration suspended; he has been summoned to District Court for preliminary arraignment and a preliminary hearing and is presumed innocent.
