Manheim Township Evening Storm Update — July 7
Evening update on road closures, power restoration timelines, and facility reopenings in Manheim Township after severe storms.
As of 9:00 pm on July 7, Manheim Township reports 18 road closures remaining (down from 32), with three major closures: Oregon Pike between East Roseville Road and Crooked Oak Drive; East Roseville Road between Oregon Pike and Municipal Drive; and Valley Road between Blue Streak Boulevard and Shaub Road. Three traffic signals remain dark or on flash, and per a PPL update at 11:00 am the utility expects 95% of outages repaired by Tuesday night at 11:00 pm and 100% by Wednesday night at 11:00 pm. The municipal office (1840 Municipal Drive) will be closed July 8; Overlook Golf Course (front 9) opens 8:00 am, pools reopen at noon, the library and Calvary Church are offering device charging and cooling space, and the Compost Park is open free to residents through July 12.
