Martin Antonio Rojas Jr. arrested on DUI and retail theft charges

On Aug. 7, 2026 at about 12:14 a.m., Forks Township officers responded to a reported theft at Top Star, 1434 Knox Ave., and identified Martin Antonio Rojas Jr., 37, as the suspect. Officers allege he stole multiple items, detected a strong odor of alcohol, and after Standardized Field Sobriety Tests took him into custody; blood results showed a BAC of 0.137%. He was charged by criminal complaint with one count of Driving Under the Influence — High Rate of Alcohol (misdemeanor), one count of Driving Under the Influence — General Impairment (misdemeanor), and three counts of Retail Theft (summary).
