MCSAP Detail: 11 CMVs Inspected; 5 Placed Out-of-Service
Central Bucks MCSAP detail in New Britain Township inspected 11 commercial motor vehicles; 28 violations found and 5 CMVs placed out-of-service.
On Wednesday, 10/07/26 the New Britain Township Police Department hosted the Central Bucks Motor Carrier Safety Enforcement Team to inspect commercial motor vehicles along the US 202 Business corridor, SR 2038 (County Line Rd) and SR 2025 (Bristol Rd). Eleven CMVs were inspected — four had no violations, seven had violations totaling 28 (including 10 out-of-service violations); five CMVs were placed out-of-service for brake and cargo securement violations and one hazmat vehicle had defective brakes. Two drivers were placed out-of-service (one for a disqualified/expired Class A CDL and one for operating while in possession of marijuana); officers issued nine traffic citations and 19 traffic warnings.
