MCSO Seeks Leads in 2021 Disappearance of Teen Addison Dunn
Addison Wayne Dunn, 16 when he disappeared from Grand Junction on Sept. 28, 2021, last contacted family from the Denver area; Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for any leads.
On Sept. 28, 2021 deputies took a missing-person report for 16-year-old Addison Wayne Dunn after he failed to show for an appointment in downtown Grand Junction; he was a sophomore at R5 High School and lived with his parents on Morning Dove Drive. A few weeks after losing regular contact he told his sister he was in the Denver area and contacted her again in 2022, but she has had no contact since; his social media went silent in 2021 and he used the handle Lazy Narwhale. He would be 21 years old today and is described as a white male with blue eyes and blonde hair, 5'9" and about 150 pounds (in 2021); anyone with information should call MCSO Captain Jeff Byrne at (970) 244-3903, reference case # 21-29223.
