Mechanicsburg: Parked Vehicle Struck in Rear; Police Seek Information

On June 22, 2026, at approximately 8:41 a.m., Mechanicsburg Police were contacted by a resident who found their vehicle had been struck while parked behind their home in the 400 block of South York Street. The owner had been out of town from June 17–21 and discovered damage to the rear bumper upon returning; the exact day of the incident is unknown. Anyone with information about the hit-and-run (case MBG-2026-06-0707) is asked to contact the Mechanicsburg Police Department.
