Miss Manners: Must newlyweds write thank-you notes on their honeymoon?
A Miss Manners reader asks whether it’s reasonable to expect newlyweds to spend part of their honeymoon writing thank-you notes for gifts received just before departure.
DEAR MISS MANNERS: I acknowledge that a person should not be hosting their own birthday parties. However, if I had to wait until I could afford to take everyone out to dinner to invite them out for a good time, we’d never go.
