Monroeville woman charged after 5-year-old left in running car at Murrysville Walmart
Murrysville police say a 36-year-old woman left a 5-year-old unattended in a running vehicle at a Walmart parking lot; the child was taken to the hospital.
Murrysville Police filed a felony charge of endangering the welfare of children against 36-year-old Munara Ismailova after a report on June 7, 2026, that a 5-year-old was left unattended in a running vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. Officers found the vehicle running with keys inside and hot air blowing; the child was taken to the hospital and an off-duty officer translated in Russian because Ismailova does not speak English. Surveillance video showed Ismailova had been away longer than she told officers, and Walmart employees said she works as a delivery driver for spark; all charges are accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
