Monroeville woman charged after child left unattended in Walmart parking lot
Murrysville police say a 5-year-old was found alone in a running vehicle with the keys inside in 83-degree heat; the child was taken to hospital and a Monroeville woman has been charged.
Munara Ismailova, 36, of Monroeville is charged with endangering the welfare of children after police say a 5-year-old was left unattended inside a running vehicle with the keys inside in a Murrysville Walmart parking lot on June 7, 2026. Officers reported the temperature was about 83 degrees and the vehicle was blowing hot air; store employees paged the owner and EMS took the child to a hospital. Ismailova, who does not speak English and was reportedly a Spark delivery driver, told officers she was in the store 15 minutes, but surveillance showed she arrived 23 minutes before the 911 call; charges are accusations and she is presumed innocent.
