Montgomery County firefighter fired after racial slur aired over radio
Horsham Fire Company No. 1 said “offensive and unacceptable language” was transmitted over the county radio while crews responded to an emergency.
A Montgomery County firefighter was fired earlier this week after officials said he used a racial slur over the county radio system.
In a statement posted to social media, the Horsham Fire Company No. 1 said that firefighters were sent to a sent to an emergency along County Line Road in the township at about 1 p.m. Tuesday.
