Montgomery County man sentenced to 5 to 10 years for attempted sexual exploitation of a minor
A North Wales man pleaded guilty to multiple felonies after attempting to meet who he believed was a 13-year-old for a sexual encounter in Bensalem Township.
Pawol Piotr Sudol, 45, of North Wales pleaded guilty in March to several felonies — including attempted involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, attempted statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors and criminal use of a communication facility — and was sentenced Tuesday by Common Pleas Judge Stephen A. Corr to 5 to 10 years in state prison and ordered to follow sex offender conditions. Bensalem Township detectives, working with the FBI Child Exploitation & Human Trafficking Task Force and the Pennsylvania ICAC Task Force, say Sudol initiated contact in September 2025 over a social media and dating app, arranged an Oct. 7 meeting but fled the scene, and was arrested Nov. 3 after charges were filed Oct. 29; prosecutors and local officials praised the ICAC model and the prosecution led by Assistant District Attorney Bridget Murphy.
