On July 8, 2026 at approximately 5:56 p.m., East Lampeter Township Police responded to a motorcycle versus pickup truck crash at Willow Road and New Holland Pike. Initial investigation indicates the motorcycle was eastbound on New Holland Pike when a northbound pickup on Willow Road attempted a left turn into westbound New Holland Pike and was struck as it entered the intersection. The motorcycle rider was transported to a local hospital with life‑threatening injuries; the Lancaster County Crash Team is assisting and the investigation is ongoing.
