Multiple arrests in Batavia: weapons, drugs, DWI and theft (July 2026)
Batavia Police reported arrests from July 14–22 for alleged weapon threats, drug possession, DWI, larceny and harassment.
Between July 14 and July 22, Batavia Police arrested several people on charges including Criminal Possession of a Weapon, menacing, drug possession, DWI, petit larceny, harassment and criminal contempt. Notable cases include the July 15 arrest of Zachary W. Williams for allegedly threatening someone with a knife and the July 22 arrest of Steven J. Godinho for allegedly violating an order of protection. Other arrests involved alleged shoplifting, possession of crack cocaine after traffic stops, an e‑bike theft with subsequent narcotics charges, and multiple DWI and harassment incidents.
