Multiple Overnight Vehicle Thefts and Break-ins in Upper Southampton
Police say unlocked vehicles and visible valuables — including keys left inside — led to several overnight thefts.
Over the last few days the Upper Southampton Township Police Department investigated multiple vehicle thefts and theft-from-vehicle cases that occurred during overnight hours. In each incident vehicles were left unlocked with valuables clearly visible; in the vehicle theft cases owners also left ignition keys inside the unlocked cars. Police urge residents to remove valuables, lock vehicles, never leave keys inside, and to call 911 if they see suspicious people or vehicles overnight.
