Mummified hand found in package at Dauphin County UPS facility
An unmarked package processed at a major UPS hub in Dauphin County contained a mummified human hand; origin, sender and destination remain unknown.
An unmarked package sent through the UPS distribution center in Dauphin County last year contained a mummified hand that has yet to be identified.
It’s unclear who sent the hand and from where; or its intended destination as the package was either placed into a drop box without labels or the labels fell off during processing, said Lower Swatara Police Chief Thomas Bell. He noted the distribution center processes millions of packages each day and represents the hub for the Northeast part of the country.
