Murrysville shooting investigated; suspect arrested on unrelated drug charges
Police say a shooting on Sardis Road Oct. 25 left a man critically wounded; a separate encounter led to the arrest of Nelson Hill on drug and arrest-related charges.
Murrysville Police and Westmoreland County Detectives responded just before midnight Oct. 25 to a report of a gunshot wound on Sardis Road; the victim was found inside a vehicle, taken to a hospital and remains in critical condition. Minutes later a resident reported a male at their door; officers located Nelson Hill of Wilmerding, who was visibly intoxicated, attempted to flee, and was found with suspected heroin and crack cocaine.
