N.J. charity treasurer accused of stealing $244,000
A 65-year-old treasurer is accused of taking the funds over a two-year period, prosecutors say.
The 65-year-old treasurer of a charity that supports adults with disabilities stole more than $244,000 from the organization, authorities said.
Stephen Ferguson is charged with theft by unlawful taking and misapplication of entrusted funds, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said Friday.
