Native wildflowers bloom as invasive multiflora rose spreads in Lehigh Valley
Virginia spiderwort and fleabane are drawing pollinators this week while invasive multiflora rose continues to spread, its seeds remaining viable for up to 20 years.
It’s finally warm enough for me to sit on the porch in the mornings with a cup of coffee. I’m, of course, always watching for birds, but at this time of the year I pay even more attention to the plants.
