NCPD Lieutenants Graduate Charleston Police Executive Leadership Institute
Lt. Joseph Sherwood and Lt. Ralph Draper completed a four-month, multi-agency leadership program covering communication, strategy, and community policing.
The North Charleston Police Department announced that Lt. Joseph Sherwood and Lt. Ralph Draper graduated from the 4th cohort of the Charleston Police Executive Leadership Institute, a four-month multi-agency program. The curriculum addressed effective communication, leadership principles and ethics, strategic planning, emotional intelligence, community policing, and recruitment and retention strategies. Assistant Chief Perry attended the graduation as NCPD reaffirmed its commitment to leadership development and service to the community.
