Brian Richard Fitzgerald, 51, a Deputy Attorney General for New Jersey, was arrested Oct. 15 in Lower Makefield Township and arraigned on three felony counts: possession of child sexual abuse material, dissemination of such material, and criminal use of a communication facility. Bucks County detectives and Lower Makefield Police say they found prompts, scripts and chat logs showing he used an AI program and a Discord account (username thegentlemanpervert_2160_07833) to create and share illicit images, and that he also shared material depicting real children; bail was set at $2 million (10%). A preliminary hearing is scheduled for later this month.
