NJ man arrested in Bucks County human trafficking sting
Authorities say a 35-year-old New Jersey man traveled to Bensalem believing he would meet a 13-year-old being trafficked; he was arrested in a multi-agency undercover operation.
Christopher Martin Reynolds, 35, of Browns Mills, NJ, was arrested in Bensalem Township after a Montgomery County DA detective posing as a mother online arranged a meeting for sex with a 13-year-old; Reynolds allegedly agreed to pay $300 and was taken into custody with the cash and a 2-liter bottle of Mountain Dew requested by the decoy. He was arraigned and is being held on $5 million bail, facing nine felony counts including attempted commercial sexual activity with a minor, attempted statutory sexual assault, attempted trafficking in individuals, attempted indecent assault of a child under 13, corruption of minors and multiple counts of unlawful contact. The investigation was led by the Bucks and Montgomery County District Attorney’s Offices with assistance from numerous federal, county and local partners; prosecution is assigned to First Assistant District Attorney Kristin McElroy.
