Former Mack Trucks operator and longtime Hellertown Borough Water Authority maintenance mechanic; enjoyed woodworking and restoring antique cars.

Norman K. Fetzer (1942 – 2026)

Norman K. Fetzer, 84, of Hellertown, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at Sacred Heart Senior Living in Upper Saucon Township. He was the loving husband of the late Carol Ann (Sterner) Fetzer. Born in Hellertown on May 1, 1942, Norman was the son of the late Kenneth E. and Alice E. (Millward) Fetzer. A dedicated and hardworking provider, Norman worked as a machine operator at Mack Trucks for 12 years before transitioning to the Hellertown Borough Water Authority, where he served as a maintenance mechanic for 20 years until his well-earned retirement. Outside of work, he enjoyed woodworking and restoring his antique cars with his sons.

SURVIVORS

Norman is lovingly remembered by his sons: Kenneth E. Fetzer (wife Diane M.) of Upper Saucon Township, Bryan D. Fetzer (wife Jennifer C.) of Lower Saucon Township; his cherished grandchildren: Ashley, Lindsay, Jacquelyn and Bryanna; and his beloved great-grandchildren: Riley, Jensen, Liam, Caleb, Caden, Allison, Bryson and Avacyn. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Robert E. Fetzer.

SERVICES

Family and friends are invited to his visitation from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The visitation period will be followed by the service at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be at The Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
