North Charleston Police Host Public Drone-as-First-Responder Demonstrations

The North Charleston Police Department invites the public to on-site demonstrations of its Drone as First Responder (DFR) program at the NCPD South Bureau, 3401 Rivers Ave. Attendees will see how Skydio DFR autonomous drones provide rapid aerial awareness to support emergency response, infrastructure inspections and asset monitoring. Demonstrations are scheduled for July 17 at 1:00 p.m., July 18 at 10:00 a.m., and July 19 at 10:00 a.m.
