In June, North Huntingdon Township police stopped a vehicle for improper lights and excessively tinted windows on Route 30 near North Thompson Lane. Officers discovered an aftermarket void between the dashboard and center console containing two mounted plastic boxes with 16 bricks of suspected heroin/fentanyl and a baggie of suspected crack cocaine, plus digital scales (one disguised as a key fob) and six doses of Suboxone; the driver, identified as Kylie Anne Vargo, 24 of Turtle Creek, admitted there was a blunt and a bag of marijuana in the car.
