North Middleton PD hires Patrolman Austin M. Coldren
Patrolman Austin M. Coldren, a North Middleton native and honorably discharged U.S. Marine Corps veteran, is the department’s first cadet to complete Act 120 at Harrisburg Academy Community College.
North Middleton Township Police Department placed its first cadet through Act 120 Municipal Police Officers' Education and Training at Harrisburg Academy Community College during the winter and spring of 2026. Patrolman Austin M. Coldren, a recent Municipal Police Academy graduate who began his career in July 2026, will enter a rigorous Field Training program redeveloped by Chief Gary E. Carver. A lifelong North Middleton native and honorably discharged U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Coldren is eager to serve the community and bring his outgoing personality and strong work ethic to the township.
