From June 15-21, Northampton Township police responded to a damaged telephone pole on New Road (PECO notified); an egging/vandalism incident on Stoneyford Road; students arriving at school on e-bikes whose parents retrieved the bikes after officers explained the laws; officers attending a concert at the municipal park; a deer-involved crash on Elm Avenue that did not require a tow; a juvenile e-bike stop on 2nd Street Pike; and a traffic stop that led to the arrest of a driver on an active warrant and drug-related charges. During the week patrols also handled 18 alarm calls, 15 abandoned 911 calls, 35 medical emergencies, nine bookings, seven domestic disputes, 13 civil disputes, 57 traffic monitoring details and 24 crime prevention details.
