Patrols responded to a rear-end traffic accident on 2nd Street Pike, located a juvenile operating an e-bike (parent contacted to retrieve it), and handled a brush fire on the 1000 block of 2nd Street Pike. Officers also made DUI arrests after traffic stops on June 30 and July 4, investigated an attempted vehicle-entry theft captured on camera, removed a downed tree on Brookside Drive with Public Works’ assistance, and assigned a reported jury-duty fraud phone scam to detectives. During the tour patrol logged 34 alarm calls, 23 abandoned 911 calls, 37 medical emergencies, seven bookings, four domestic disputes, 11 civil disputes, 56 traffic monitoring details and 17 crime prevention details.
