Northampton Township police reported multiple fraud attempts — a Publishers Clearing House Facebook scam and an Amazon account/gift-card scheme — a traffic crash that struck a parked vehicle on East Village Road at Sturbridge Commons, a disabled vehicle assisted on 2nd Street Pike near East Bristol Road, a theft from a vehicle in the Churchville section, and a DUI arrest following a traffic stop at Buck Road and Kings Way. During the week officers also handled 8 alarm calls, 20 abandoned 911 calls, 55 medical emergencies, 11 bookings, five domestic disputes, five civil disputes, 84 traffic-monitoring details and 26 crime-prevention details; these incidents do not reflect the entirety of reports for the week.
