On July 20, 2026, Officer Lucas addressed approximately 30 children at the Jersey Shore Summer Recreation Program, describing the daily responsibilities of a Lycoming Regional Police officer. The children were engaged and curious about the gadgets and gear used on patrol cruisers, duty belts, and vests, and were given the chance to explore a patrol cruiser for a hands-on look at law enforcement equipment.
