Officer Rios Commended for Burglary and Vehicle Break-In Arrests
Millersville officer was honored Oct. 27 after helping apprehend a burglary suspect and arresting a person following overnight vehicle break-ins that included stolen firearms.
At the Oct. 27, 2026 borough council meeting, Officer Spencer Rios was recognized for assisting Manor Township Police on Oct. 5 by locating, confronting and securing a suspect in a burglary in progress. On Oct. 10 he aided investigations into a series of overnight vehicle break-ins in Millersville Borough and Manor Township — incidents that included the theft of at least two firearms — locating occupants in a stolen vehicle that fled and crashed; two occupants fled and Rios took one into custody. Rios is pictured with Mayor Lastowski and is a member of the Millersville Borough Police Department.
