Ohio man sues North Olmsted Taco Bell operator over Cyclospora illness
An Ohio man says he became seriously ill after eating at a North Olmsted Taco Bell during a nationwide Cyclospora outbreak and has sued the franchise operator and unnamed suppliers.
CLEVELAND — An Ohio man has filed a federal lawsuit against the operator of a Taco Bell restaurant in North Olmsted, alleging he became seriously ill after eating there during a multistate outbreak of the intestinal parasite Cyclospora. The complaint targets Pacific Bells LLC, one of the nation’s largest Taco Bell franchise operators, along with unnamed food suppliers and distributors that allegedly provided contaminated ingredients.
