Operation Blue Flood: 18 Arrested in Johnstown Sweep

A multi‑agency U.S. Marshals operation in Johnstown on July 1–2, 2026 led to 18 arrests and the seizure of a stolen Glock 19, large quantities of narcotics and thousands in cash.

From July 1–2, 2026, the U.S. Marshals Service Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, working with local, state and federal partners, conducted "Operation Blue Flood" in Johnstown and apprehended 18 individuals on warrants and/or criminal charges. Akeem Clinkscales was arrested at Solomon Homes where officers recovered a loaded Glock 19 (serial CCBD134, reported stolen in Philadelphia), crack, heroin, oxycodone and about $2,700; a separate search at 234 Charles Avenue yielded suspected cocaine and crack (over 80 grams total), $4,620, packaging materials and electronics. Simyron Johnson Jr., Julian Williams, John Machesky and Dana Snyder were charged with criminal conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute narcotics and taken for arraignment; Susan Heider, Eric Freeman and Michael Nash are to be charged via summons.
