Operation Blue Flood nets 18 arrests in Johnstown
A two-day U.S. Marshals-led saturation operation in Johnstown resulted in 18 arrests and the seizure of narcotics, cash and a reported stolen Glock.
On July 1–2, 2026, the U.S. Marshals Service Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force led OPERATION BLUE FLOOD in Johnstown with numerous local, state and federal partners, resulting in the apprehension of 18 individuals on warrants or criminal charges. Law enforcement executed arrests at locations including Solomon Homes (Apt. 156) and 234 Charles Avenue, seizing a loaded, chambered Glock 19 (serial CCBD134, reported stolen in Philadelphia), significant quantities of crack, cocaine, heroin and Oxycodone, and thousands in U.S. currency. Simyron Johnson Jr., Julian Williams, John Machesky and Dana Snyder were charged with Criminal Conspiracy and Possession with Intent to Distribute Narcotics; Susan Heider, Eric Freeman and Michael Nash will be charged via summons; charges related to items seized from Akeem Clinkscales are forthcoming.
