Pa. to hold hearing on Columbia County groundwater contamination
State officials will accept public comment on contamination possibly traced to sewage-sludge spreading on agricultural properties; bottled water and treatment systems have been provided to affected residents.
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection will host a public hearing Monday, May 11, to discuss groundwater contamination affecting North Centre Township and surrounding municipalities in Columbia County.
