Pa. unlocks first $250M of $775M road repair blitz
The $250 million is the first portion of a $775 million distribution from the Motor License Fund; $4 billion in projects are expected to go to bid this year.
Gov. Josh Shapiro and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Secretary Mike Carroll today announced $250 million will fund 79 road repair projects across the state, with work beginning ahead of schedule on several routes.
