Palmer Township man arrested on NY fugitive warrant, charged with drug possession
Officers found 43-year-old Anthony Brown in a parked vehicle Sept. 22 and discovered he had an active New York weapons warrant and a controlled substance.
On September 22, 2026 at about 7:15 PM, Palmer Township officers contacted a suspicious male in a parked vehicle on the 300 block of Berks Street and identified him as 43-year-old Anthony Brown. Investigation revealed an active New York arrest warrant for a weapons offense and that Brown was in possession of a controlled substance; he was arraigned by Magisterial District Justice Cappobianco, held on $75,000 bail for the out-of-state fugitive charge and $2,500 for the possession charge, and committed to the Northampton County Prison.
