The Paradise Valley Police Department is participating in the 2026 Law Enforcement Torch Run Plane Pull on November 7 at Goodyear Airport to support Special Olympics Arizona. Teams of up to 25 people — each joined by a Special Olympics athlete as an Honorary Co‑Pilot — will pull a 125,000‑pound, 737‑sized aircraft 20 feet; teams must raise at least $1,000 (about $40 per person) to enter. Donations and team sign-ups are being collected through the event's GoFundMe page.
