The Parkesburg Borough Police Department is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for immediate full-time police officer hires. Applications are available on the department's CrimeWatch website or may be picked up at the police department Monday–Friday; they must be submitted by 4:00 PM on Monday, August 10, 2026. A written exam will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 8:00 AM at Parkesburg Borough Hall with physical agility testing to follow at the Octorara Area School District; successful candidates will advance to oral interviews and further screening (polygraph, psychological exam, background investigation) before a conditional offer and final medical exam.
