The Parkesburg Borough Police Department is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for immediate full‑time police officer hires. Applications are available on the department's CrimeWatch site or at the police station Monday–Friday and must be received by 4:00 PM on Monday, August 10, 2026. The written exam will be Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 8:00 AM at Parkesburg Borough Hall (doors open 7:30 AM), followed immediately by physical agility testing at the Octorara Area School District; successful candidates will advance to oral interviews, then polygraph, psychological exam, background investigation and a final medical exam before any conditional offer.
