Parkesburg Borough Police will establish an eligibility list to immediately hire full-time officers; applications are due Aug. 10, 2026, with a written exam and physical agility test on Aug. 22, 2026.
The Parkesburg Borough Police Department is accepting applications to create an eligibility list for immediate full-time police hires. Applications are available on the department's CrimeWatch site or at the station (Mon–Fri) and must be submitted or received by 4:00 PM on Monday, August 10, 2026, to Parkesburg Borough Police Department, c/o Ann Smoker, 315 W. First Avenue, Building 2, Parkesburg, PA 19365. A written exam will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Parkesburg Borough Hall (8:00 AM start, doors open 7:30 AM), followed immediately by physical agility testing at the Octorara Area School District; successful candidates will proceed to oral interviews and further testing (polygraph, psychological, background) and may receive a conditional offer pending a final medical exam.
