Parkesburg Borough Police will create an eligibility list to immediately hire full-time officers; applications are due Aug. 10, 2026 and the written exam plus physical agility testing is Aug. 22, 2026.
The Parkesburg Borough Police Department is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for immediate full-time police hires. Applications are available on the department’s CrimeWatch site or at the department (M–F) and must be received by 4:00 PM on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Parkesburg Borough Police Department, C/O Ann Smoker, 315 W. First Avenue, Building 2, Parkesburg, PA 19365. The written examination is Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Parkesburg Borough Hall (doors open 7:30 AM; exam begins 8:00 AM) with physical agility testing immediately after at the Octorara Area School District; successful candidates will be scheduled for oral interviews and then proceed to polygraph, psychological exam, background investigation and a final medical exam for a conditional offer.
